Overview

The Model Context Protocol (MCP) is an open standard that lets AI applications connect to external tools and data through a consistent interface.

Using MCP with PayTraq

The current PayTraq MCP Server exposes more than 150 tools for reading, analyzing, modifying, and creating accounting data. These tools allow compatible AI clients to work with PayTraq data while using PayTraq's existing access controls.

Once connected, for instance, you can simply ask your AI assistant to^*:

• Report and analyze: Retrieve trial balances, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements; review account statements and journal entries; identify your best-selling products and top customers; check current inventory and product movements.
• Track balances, receivables and payables: Check partner and money account balances, get billing statements and balance confirmations, find outstanding invoices at a glance.
• Manage contacts and catalog: View, create, and update customers, suppliers, employees, and products.
• Handle transactions: View, create, and update sales, purchases, and expense claims, and record payments. View payroll information.
• Organize documents: Retrieve document attachments, upload files, and add notes and tags.
• Digitize invoices: Have the AI read a PDF invoice and create a new purchase from it, or send the file to your purchase inbox.
• Reconcile banking: Upload bank statements from CSV files and run auto-reconciliation or just ask for unreconciled transactions.
• Manage multiple companies: Switch between different company data within the same chat window.

Add the MCP server
